Natural Solutions for Management of Crohn's Disease
Crohn's Disease is a complex disorder, which even doctors admittedly do not understand – it can masquerade as many things, and is often not diagnosed until it is in the end stages. A cure is not promised by anyone other than quacks, though many people have learned to manage it by making lifelong changes to diet and routines.
This is our purpose – to share the results of the changes we have made to our diet and behaviors, and to report on those results, and the conclusions we have reached through intensive research and experimentation. If you are here, we can assume that you are either suffering from this disease, you know someone who is, or you are in that pre-stage of confusion, feeling like something is not right but not knowing what, or that you have been given the run-around by doctors and are searching for answers for yourself.
Nothing here is recommended based on a desire to profit from the recommendation. We are not extremists – everything we say holds up against logical scientific fact, and our claims about the food industry are provable through simple tests that you can perform yourself. Indeed, we were reluctant to believe what we now know to be true, and only did so after extensive proof and testing. We do not believe in cure-alls, and we do not recommend anything that we have not tried ourselves (though we do report on some things we have not tried, and we state in the report that we have not tried it).
This approach is not for cowards. It is HARD. The world will not make it easy for you to significantly improve your health through diet if you have Crohn's, or if you suspect that you do, but have not been able to obtain a diagnosis. But it does help considerably, and may be able to reverse the disease process in some people (there are complex reasons why it won't in many). In general, it can make you feel a lot better though, and to radically slow the progression of the disease process, and can be very helpful, even if you do not have an official diagnosis of Crohn's Disease. We believe that many other conditions may have a common cause with Crohn's, so this information may be helpful for other situations as well.
